Just starting a group of crocheted blankets for charity Aussie, What is the best way to get people involved?

I started recently crocheted blankets for charity group that involves people in the donation of blankets into strips about to charity from Australia and the need for find the best ways to help people know and join us? Many hands make light work.

Ok I would start first at the local and contact your local newspaper and see if they would be interested in writing an article. Come out to events and take pictures and do a little write sometimes. You can contact with all their local churches and write them a letter explaining what you are doing and asking for some assistance to their congregations could give. Neighborhood centers are a resource to help a fantastic and may even be able to run regular meetings where volunteers can help meet the guilds blankets.Local as spinners and weavers, machine knitters, weavers, etc. can all be interested if you take the time to go and talk to them in meetings or write a detailed letter. Do not forget the Girl Guides, Scouts and Brownie groups and other local youth groups. It could even be an ordinary case of knitting and crochet once a year when everyone goes to a local cafe or public place, including craft stores and make your boat in public. If you have a series of posters with pictures that explain what you are doing and that you will earn interest.Also what about local retirement village.If which donate some yarn and needles and hooks and make a day to go and sit with the residents who I'm sure some of them are glad that the seats for connection to the charity.Lastly, I belong to a series of online groups that could begin on their own. Print shirts and brochures and take every opportunity to announce that its charity is about you will be surprised.
