My Tegu has been having an eye problem ....?

Recently my Coulumbian Black and white has had a difficult opening his eyes. There is no kind of download, however there is a slight "crust" around them and sometimes use their hind legs to scratch them. Recently just finished a barn and a small amount of skin shedded United Nations in the head. Rouhghly He is seven months old, and their diet consists mainly of eggs, crickets, and a mouse occasionally. I have never used any type of calcium powder before, and he lives in a 75 gallon tank with plenty of room and hides. He is currently on a chip of wood / Bark beds and has been for the past five months and never had a problem so far. I use two 75 W bulbs on different sides of the tank together with a two-lamp in the center, with two night lamps to warm the night. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the mysterious ailment? I'd much appriciate any view on the matter. I'm very attached to the little guy.
