Decorate the dining room?

We just refinished our kitchen cabinets cherry-red and brown Juparana bordeaux countertops, wood floors oak and white walls. Our 9 'x 9' corner adjacent dining room has a beautiful oval oak dining set, tan berber carpet on the floor of oak, 4 bronze pendant light, a chair rail in the off-white wall and a piece of art reddish in the upper half of each of the two walls. We need ideas to end and perhaps create a small coffee (murals, wallpaper red stripe, or ???). Any ideas appreciated.

How about .... toile patterned accessories in any of red and yellow and physical or natural? Maybe a glass or jar on the table and cushions to match. Or maybe wallpaper below chair toile rail. A little toile goes a long way! It could be a good alternative to red stripes or checks envison to think of a coffee.

How to add / mount a chandelier in an existing ceiling fan?

I have ceiling fans in every room. I add a lamp for the purpose of keeping the decor and ceiling fan. My ceilings are high so do not be a problem. Is it possible? Thank you.

A chandelier, per se, can not be added to a ceiling fan. Although there are many styles of light kits that can be added, a light hanging a chain or mail is not a good idea. All fans have at least a slight wobble to them and, depending on fan speed, you could create a resonance in a Suspended luminaire that may be dangerous and damage both the fan and the engine, causing its collapse. Besides the light box has weight limitations. Kits light for mounting fans directly to the bottom of the fan and the need to be plugged in. In general, have the option of fan only, fan and light or light only in terms of how it is connected and if you have more than one switch or a remote control. In your case it seems both fan and light switches at the same time unless you have the option of wiring in a remote control. Some fans can host a remote control that can be purchased as a kit. You should consult the instructions your fan to see if this is possible. Good luck!

I have an old lamp in my house I like to remove. It is very nice and I have been told that you can probably get some money out of it. I live in central Iowa. I think they are all very beautiful and have just never go out of fashion, but must be in a formal setting. I think you're taking away the uniqueness of them for having too many off them. If I only had to have two I'd choose the lobby and dining room. In the other rooms I have something that was traditional, but a little different.
